Background

Andy Atherton and David Levine, former owners of the IT Company Computill, bought Impressions Hairdressing in February 2005 and Topknots in October 2005.

The Impressions salons include branches on Mount Pleasant in Tunbridge Wells, the Corn Exchange in Maidstone and The Oast in Bearsted. Topknots salons include The Mall in Heathfield and Sovereign Harbour in Eastbourne. Both groups are already extremely popular and successful, with great teams and loyal clients.

12 years ago, when Andy and David first decided to set up their own software company, they never planned to work in the fashion industry. When they had taken Computill as far as they wanted to, hairdressing seemed to be the obvious sector to work in.
